Ole Gunnar Solskjaer!

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has brought the curtain down on his glorious playing career with Manchester United - but his Old Trafford days are from over.
After 11 years and 366 appearances for the club he joined for a bargain £1.5million from Norwegian side Molde, Solskjaer has had to finally call it a day due to an ongoing knee injury.
Striker Solskjaer, who famously scored the winner in the Champions League final against Bayern Munich to help the club win the treble in 1999, has made several comebacks in the last four years.
The 34-year-old even scored 11 goals last season as United again won the Premier League crown, but he has never fully overcome his knee problem.
However, the man famously nicknamed 'the baby-faced assassin', will remain at United in a coaching capacity and will continue to represent the club as an official ambassador.
Although it is a sad day for Solskjaer, he appreciates he has had a fantastic career, scoring 126 goals overall.
'I would like to thank the manager (Sir Alex Ferguson), the coaching and medical staff, and most of all the supporters who have supported me through my career,' said Solskjaer.
'They have been fantastic and were a real inspiration to me when I was out injured.
'The support they and the staff showed me during that time was the main motivation for me making my comeback.
'I feel proud to have represented Manchester United for 11 years, and have some very special memories.'
His fondest, though, will always be scoring on his debut just six minutes after coming off the bench to secure a 2-2 home draw with Blackburn on August 25, 1996
'I've been asked many times what's the greatest moment of my United career,' said Solskjaer.
'Scoring that goal in my first game and turning round to see that Eric Cantona was the first one coming towards me to celebrate, that just made me realise, 'I'm at Old Trafford now'.'
With great irony, his last goal was also after coming on as a sub against Blackburn at Old Trafford in March, scoring in the 90th minute of a 4-1 win.
There is no doubt Solskjaer will be missed on the playing side, but Ferguson is now hoping he can translate his talent to his coaching role.
'Ending your playing career is a sad day for anyone, in the case of Ole, he has 11 fantastic years he can look back on,' remarked Ferguson.
'Ole has achieved everything a player could ever wish to achieve.
'He has been a great servant to the club and has always remained a model professional in his responsibility as a player, and in his demeanour, and his manners have always been exemplary.
'Ole will hopefully go on to be a good coach.'
Whilst reflecting with fondness on Solskjaer's past at United, chief executive David Gill is also looking towards a bright future for the Norwegian.
'Ole has provided us all with some exceptional memories during his time here at the club,' said Gill.
'Nobody will ever forget his dramatic winner in Barcelona, but much more than that his dedication and professionalism make him one of the great role models in football.
'Ole will be dearly missed as a player, but will go on to serve the club as an ambassador and a valuable coach.'
Solskjaer's father Oyvind revealed the decision to quit had not been an easy one for his son.
'He wanted to keep playing,' said Solskjaer senior.
'This is sad for us, and for him, that he has to quit. He'd hoped to recover 100%, but now something has happened in his knee that makes it impossible for him to continue. 'But he believed himself that he still had a lot to offer on the football field, if he'd just recover.'
Former Manchester United striker Mark Hughes has paid tribute to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who announced his retirement on Tuesday due to injury.
Hughes, now manager of Blackburn, said: 'Ole is guaranteed a place in United's history and football's history with his goal in the European Cup final (in 1999).
'But he brought so much more to Manchester United. He had a huge influence over many years.
'I met him on many occasions. He is a true professional, a very humble man but a very successful one.
'Ole has many qualities and I'm sure that will help him going into another period in his life.'
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger also revealed his admiration for Solskjaer.
The Frenchman said: 'He played with fantastic efficiency. Maybe he was not a star player because was not a man for the media. But in a quiet way he was one of the most efficient players at Manchester United.
'If you look at his record in terms of goals to games, you won't find many better players. For (Sir Alex) Ferguson to say he's the best substitute is a real compliment for the manager, not for the player.
'Every manager knows that you can only win big games with a top bench. In 1999 Man Utd won everything and if you look that year you'll see that (Teddy) Sheringham and Solskjaer were maybe the two most important players for Utd. And most of the time they came off the bench.'

Former Manchester United defender Arthur Albiston has described Ole Gunnar Solsjkaer as a "fantastic ambassador" for the club.
Solsjkaer, 34, is poised to announce his retirement from the game after being troubled with knee problems.
The Norway striker has enjoyed a glittering 11-year career at Old Trafford and scored 126 goals in 366 appearances - the most famous being the winner in the 1999 European Cup final.
Albiston believes Solskjaer can be rightly proud of his achievements.
"Ole has been a fantastic ambassador for the club and an icon for the kids," the Scot told Radio Manchester.
"He will be a sad loss as he has made a huge contribution to United and none more so than in that European Cup final.
"I cannot listen to that radio commentary and not get emotional over it.
"I was behind the goal jumping up and down. We will never forget that."
Solskjaer was a success from day one, according to Albiston.
He said: "When he came over here from Norwegian football, the manager probably thought of using him sparingly.
"But he played about 30-odd league games in that first season and scored a lot of goals.
"Ole, though, has missed quite a lot of football the last couple of years.
"Any player will tell you that when you get past 30 and get injuries you struggle to get back from them.
"Having said that Ole made a major contribution last season without being 100% fit."
Albiston believes Solskjaer could remain around the club, maybe in coaching.
The former Scotland star added: "I would think Alex Ferguson is too shrewd to let someone of Ole's class and attitude leave the club."

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has retired at 34 - and TEAMtalk feels Manchester United will find there is no substitute for a player of his class.
They do not make strikers like Ole Gunnar Solskjaer any more.
There are frontmen who score more goals, who play more matches, who suffer less injuries and possess bigger egos.
But in a world in which strikers invariably receive the richest rewards, Solskjaer, whose enduring knee problems have finally prompted his retirement at the age of 34, was an example to all.
A man who put loyalty to Manchester United above personal fortune and whose willingness to put the team above his own self interest was perhaps his greatest asset.
In these days of grasping agents, third party ownership and perennial club-hopping it is good to see that United recognise such qualities so much that Solskjaer will stay on at Old Trafford as a coach and continue in his role as a club ambassador.
When Solskjaer kissed the United badge after scoring one of the 126 goals he netted in 366 appearances in 11 years at Old Trafford you knew the sentiment was heartfelt and not the empty gesture it appears from more vacuous characters.
More than anything that loyalty was what endeared the Norwegian striker with the innocent smile to football at large.
That and an uncanny knack to come off the bench and score vital goals. Lots of them.
Such as the four he once scored in the space of 12 minutes in an 8-1 away win at Nottingham Forest. Or the four he scored at home against Everton.
One, however, transcends all others, the reflex lunge which won the Champions League final for United against Bayern Munich in 1999 to secure a famous Treble which ensures Solskjaer his place in history.
You had to be there at the Nou Camp stadium on that heady night in Barcelona to appreciate the drama of that moment.
To see the sheer joy on the faces of United old-boys such as Tony Dunne, Alex Stepney and Nobby Stiles up in the stands. To appreciate the gut-wrenching effect on the Germans who had dominated that final only to see the trophy wrested from them so cruelly in injury time.
No wonder they called Solskjaer the "baby-faced assassin".
The fact is that a fit Solskjaer, free of the cruciate knee damage which was to blight the latter years of his career, was Sir Alex Ferguson's banker.
The player he could trust and would turn to when inspiration from other sources had run dry.
Perhaps only Liverpool's supersub of the 1970s, the carrot-haired David Fairclough, has come close to providing the impact from the bench which Solskjaer supplied so regularly.
How ironic then that Solskjaer should be forced to bow out just when Ferguson needed him most.
United may have spent more than £50million on team strengthening during the summer but their stuttering start to the season can be traced directly to a dearth of strikers.
With Alan Smith having been sold to Newcastle and Guiseppe Rossi to Villarreal plus Wayne Rooney suffering from a fractured foot and concerns over the fitness of Louis Saha, in reality Carlos Tevez, a man still finding his feet at his new club, is the lone striker still standing.
That is no way to begin the defence of a Premier League title and why a swirl of speculation still surrounds Ferguson's potential interest in capturing a Dimitar Berbatov or a Nicolas Anelka before the transfer window closes.
Football's big trophies are won by teams with deep squads and prolific goal-scorers.
And, as Ferguson knows only too well, there is no substitute for a substitute like Solskjaer.

Mmm……
